D&G TIME
Here we have a very famous designer company, which I’m sure most of you have already herd about, wether its regarding their extremely popular designer fashion line of clothing or their jewellery, such as their fabulous watch collection. A lot of people like to flaunt the D&G logo, and so the company has made it easier for you to do that, mainly by offering an affordable range of watches, which can be acquired at range that generally starts at $100 and tops off at around $400. And of course they have both a men’s and women’s line. Although the watches have huge style and design qualities, they seem to have a basic functional design. Most of the watches in their line are constructed with Japanese quartz movement and stainless steel cases, which is generally what you should expect for luxury Italian watches in this price range. If you want high-end style on a budget this line of luxury watches would be a great choice for you. Many of their watches are built with scratch resistant quartz, and are generally also waterproof to acceptable depths.
Allesi
The first thing you will notice upon first inspection of these Allesi watches is their undeniable simplistic design, that would cater more towards a semi-formal dress, although still wearable in many circumstances. The majority of their Italian luxury watch collection are designed with high-end Italian leather straps. The designs of their watches are very balanced and extremely well proportioned, which is noticeable when comparing the face of the watch to the width of the strap. Alessi watches is a product of very successful collaborations between multiple Italian influenced designers, dating back to the 1980’s. Alessi watches refines their collection on a yearly basis and releases a new line with a new style, although always staying loyal to its roots of simplicity and independence.
Scuderia
This is a very unique Italian luxury styled watch, one could potentially clsassify these watches as “luxury sports watches”, as they are clearly designed for racers, but also implement a luxurious flare. The Scuderia company actually has its timepieces made in Switzerland, but the roots of the company were born in Italy. They also have many models that are more Italian designed, implementing an Italian look as well as Italian flag designs, one such model is the CT Scuderia. Enrico Margariteli is the founder of Scuderia watches, he is also a third generation Italian watch maker. Enrico has done joint ventures with other luxury watch designers, such as Emporio Armani, F0ssil, Soviet Watches, and Key West. Enrico’s grandfather was also a master watch maker, and even created timepieces for the Italian Military. As you can see Enrico Margariteli dedicates himself 100% to his passion, which really shows in Scuderia’s fine watch collection.
Orefici
Orefici watches are highly unique, and have very strong roots in Italian traditional design. The name Orefici dates way back to 1933 when the company was founded, the name actually came from the word “orefice”, which means goldsmith in Italian. The Orefici Italian luxury watch designs are very intricate and artistic, and are also slightly pricier then some of the other Italian luxury watch brands we have looked at. The very first Orefici shop was located in the center of Milan, in an area known for trade in highly valuable jewellery. The is an ancient Italian luxury watch company that has been passed down in the family for many generations, and they plan on continuing the legacy into the future.
Gucci
Another famous Italian designer company, that also happens to make a selection of stunning watches. Everything that is made by Gucci, is of course made in Italy. This iconic Italian designer company has been around for 90 years! Gucci makes some of the highest quality watches on the market, and most importantly, they know what you want in them. Wearing a Gucci watch makes quite the statement, one of style and success. The designs implemented in their watches stand out, they are artistic and elegant. One of their most recent releases is called the Gucci Sync, which has a very classic bass with a modern twist.
Armani
Armani is a classic fashion designer company as well, and they have a great selection of Italian made luxury timepieces. I personally really like the style of their watch line, they have a great low profile look, and a smaller wrist band and face (i have small wrists). They also have some very reasonable pricing, compared to the rest of their clothing fashion line, which is usually quite expensive. Aramani’s Italian luxury watches also have a very diverse selection, which caters to a wide range of tastes.
